Arkansas Fire Marshal's Association

Residential Sprinklers Save Lives!

Things that the association or its members have done to serve our community that we know about:

Fire Marshals and contractors are currently working together to standardize fire protection shop drawing criteria.

See Current Fire Alarm Submittal Criteria.

The association is trying to collect and develop standard check lists for reviews, inspections, and other services.  If you have some, or would like to help, contact an officer.

If your jurisdiction or company has contributed to public fire safety, we would like to share the information.  Provide us with some information such as a press release.

We are always looking for training opportunities.  If you are aware of opportunities, please let one of our officers know.  See calendar page for known opportunities.

Several jurisdictions are in the process of implementing requirements for third-party reviews of architects and engineer code documents and shop drawings.  Watch for more information.
